Nice 80W amps for rack mount with great Altec Peerless output
transformers. The smaller version (using only 2 EL34 tubes) was the
1568. Unforgotten: the Altec 1570A triode amp.
Bergmann
This is the only vintage German EL34 stereo amp beside the MEL PIC
35. And the only EL34 SE amp from Germany.
Originally found in Bergmann juke boxes from Hamburg. Very rare!
Dynaco is still one of my favourite brands. Great quality for nice
prices from the 1950s to 1970s. All their amps used great output
transformers. The driver stages could have been better. Kits and
factory built units.
Many mounted kits I saw had the same quality as the "factory built"
units which carry a sticker "factory built".
Many mods offered. It is always a good deal to change the PCBs.
Dynaco MkII
The MkII after and before restoration. I changed the EL34 for 6550
tubes as used in its successor, the MkIII.
