Distribruted as Klangfilm KL L307 and by Siemens as Ruf Lsp15p this wide range speaker was originally used on open baffles as well as control speaker. Sometimes also with an additional tweeter for the highest highs, which is - in my opinion and using single ended amps - not necessary. This speaker is extremely efficient and will work very fine with low power amps. As most Klangfilm speakers this one also have a non-standard size: the cone diameter is 8.3" (21cm) and the frame diameter is 9.7" (24.5cm). Extremely high quality and superiority is shown by the following features: - Big VAC (Vacuumschmelze Berlin) AlNiCo magnet screwn to the chassis
- Die cast frame - Wires are stitched to the cone - Centering of the cone can be re-adjusted as spider is mounted with 3 screws
I like these speakers on open baffles with an additional sub woofer. They sound wonderful.
Early units use a bakkelite centering spider. |

Great speaker
of the same quality as the 307. Here it is even possible to seperate
the cone from the frame. Sounds really amazing. Lacks some highs...
